My fine art photography is all about creating a unique piece of Fine Art that is always bespoke to you.
Just a personalised picture isn’t art.
Art is about understanding the space, the client and the subject, to create something that catches eyes, evokes emotion and speaks without words.
Making it happen…
From our conversations, we will narrow down what the final piece will look like, whether it be a traditional piece or a more contemporary composite.
We will then look at where it will be situated as this is always very important through the process, but particularly important when framing and hanging as we want to make the most impact.
About the Fine Art Sessions…
It really does start with “hello”!
I’ll send over and walkthrough the different session collections and if you are happy to go ahead, we’ll get the Capture session book in the diary.
The photoshoot itself really isn’t as scary as it may initially seem, and it is more important to me that you and your horse are happy and relaxed. After the photography session is complete, which usually takes around 1-2 hours, I’ll head back to my desk to process and retouch the images to perfection.
We’ll meet back up at yours or at mine to reveal the final gallery of images. I do bring tissues for tears! Finally, you can select which images you’d like for your collection, or alternatively you can opt for none at all - there is no pressure.
As a rough guide, most clients spend between £400 and £1200 on their Capture session artwork.

Who is Imogen Candler though?
I am a Fine Art photographer from rural North Essex and since leaving University I’ve been working both with horses and art, so one day I wanted to combine the two and chase my dream to be an equine photographer.
Growing up in the countryside and being a classically-trained Fine Artist gives me a unique perspective when creating my art. I’ve always loved and observed the changing of seasons, lighting, weather and the mood that comes with them. These noticeable changes give my work such a range of style from light, bright and airy shoots to very tonal moody looks, I have a style to fit every client and setting.
